I'm sad that cohost is R.I.P. but I'm also feeling a way that the reaction from so many people has been stubbornly joining hands. Like yeah I know it's partially a selection bias thing, but can you imagine twitter natives reacting to its theoretical closure by saying "hey guys, who wants to start a webring"? I always had the feeling cohost was mostly populated by people who were screwing around over here to procrastinate on their non-social-media web projects, but the outpouring has still been amazing.
I'm sad to hear it. Cohost wasn't my first foray into posting on social media as myself, but it was by far the best. To everyone who has interacted with me, even if it was as simple as leaving a like on one of my Sky screenshots: thank you. You helped me realize that there is a place for me in this world, as long as I'm brave enough to take it.

I will also make an attempt to be active on https://www.schlaugh.com/Lorekeeper - to be quite honest, it's more my cadence than the Fediverse is. Still. Regardless of platform, I hope I can continue building and sharing my outerworld life. My characters, especially! Sky, too, perhaps. And cello.

I'm going to learn how to play the cello!! Or, I'll attempt to. It's entirely possible that it won't be for me. But even the attempt is a tremendous accomplishment for me. I wouldn't have considered it, if it wasn't for Cohost.

I've always enjoyed the energy you brought to Fallen London and FFXIV, and though it wasn't the focus of my interactions with you, I do appreciate you giving your perspective(s) on plurality. I am always delighted to learn about other forms of existence.

For what it's worth, you were a big part of why I got back into Fallen London! I'm unsure how often you're around FBO these days, but I hope to be more active around there. Looking forward to vanguarding future installments of Firmament! And future Estivals!
